Qualification of the Process and Parts

Aidro supports customers in defining their qualification requirements, acceptance procedures and purchase specifications for 3D printing parts.

More and more, industrial operators, EPCs and end-users of 3D printed parts require the compliance with standard and their internal procedures.

Aidro supports customers to build trust in ‘3D printed’ metal parts and gives advice to ensure an efficient adoption of AM products

Aidro is certified EN9100 and the additive manufacturing process is integral part of its quality management systems.

Aidro follows procedures and standards to provide:

– manufacturing process qualification (for laser powder bed fusion technology)

– the qualification of parts made by additive manufacturing

In March 2023, Aidro Achieves Industry-First Global Additive Manufacturing Maufacturer from DNV for Metal 3D Printing with Two Technologies:

The first manufacturer to earn DNV’s AM manufacturer certification for binder jetting technology, Aidro was awarded the qualification using the Desktop Metal Shop System™.

Aidro also achieved the highest level of DNV’s AM manufacturer certification for laser powder bed fusion, which included “part qualification for critical level AMC 3” of a 316L valve body.

These new DNV certifications demonstrate the company’s leadership helping energy, oil & gas, maritime, and other industries transition to Additive Manufacturing 2.0 with confidence.
